Terms of Service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Nifty-Chores websites, apps, and related services (the “Service”). The organization operating the deployment you use is responsible for that instance. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for household chore, habit, calendar, and reward coordination. A parent, guardian, or other authorized adult must create and administer households that include children or minors. You are responsible for making sure your use of the Service is lawful where you live and that information entered for children is appropriate and limited to what is needed.

Accounts and household administration

You are responsible for keeping sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Household administrators control invites, member roles, rooms, tasks, rewards, connected integrations, and household deletion. Only invite people you authorize to see and participate in your household workspace.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid features may depend on the deployment and billing configuration. When subscriptions are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe and Stripe’s terms apply to payment processing. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, cancellation options, and taxes are shown in the product or Stripe checkout/customer portal before purchase where applicable.

Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of household content you enter into the Service. You grant the operator the limited rights needed to host, process, display, and back up that content to provide and secure the Service. Do not use the Service to upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content, or to interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

Third-party services and integrations

The Service may rely on or connect with third-party providers such as Supabase for authentication/storage, Stripe for billing, and Google Calendar when you choose to connect it. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Optional integrations can be disconnected in the product or through the third-party account settings where available.

Data deletion and cancellation

Household administrators can delete household data from Dashboard → Admin → Delete household where available. Household deletion permanently removes the household, homes, rooms, task templates, tasks, rewards, and membership links from the application database. If a Stripe subscription is linked, the app attempts to cancel it during deletion, but you should verify the cancellation in Billing or Stripe. You may request account or personal-data deletion by contacting the site operator or privacy contact for the deployment you use. Deletion does not require you to keep a paid subscription. Some information may remain for limited periods where necessary for legal compliance, payment records, security logs, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or backups.

Service changes and availability

The Service may change over time, and features may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued. We try to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or that every deployment has the same features.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. It is a household organization tool and not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact the operator of the site where you use Nifty-Chores (for example using support or billing contact options shown in the product or on the same domain).
